This week we were learning about character modelling in maya which is quite different to the previous modelling i have done because it is organic, in year 2 of level 3 games development we will be delving deeper into character modelling but it helps a lot to look at it now so that i can go into year 2 already knowing the basics.

We modeled a human arm from a side and front reference which turned out so be slightly simpler than expected, After modelling the arm i decided to move onto doing a torso and a leg so that i can piece them together for an almost complete body.

This is the feedback i got for the arm model:

-Nicely constructed arm -Curved well -No imperfections such as sharp edges -Could do with some more detail

-So far it looks good
